Diversion / Wholesale

Diversion is where an authorised retailer selling to an unathorised retailer who then sells products on to the public. Diversion is dangerous because not only do you not know the history of the product, you will not receive professional advice from an authorised Dermalogica salon. Diverted products are often out of date, stolen, counterfeit, contaminated or imported on the grey market from another country and may have different ingredients or instructions. Use of substandard products can put your skin's health at risk and you should avoid this at all costs.

Dermalogica and St Tropez have a policy to only sell wholesale products directly to authorised skincare professionals for use in a salon or sale on the the end user and expressly forbid any sale of products to another intermediary who will sell the products on.

If you are another retailer looking for a diverted supply - forget it. Some less reputable suppliers may be prepared to risk their Dermalogica or St Tropez accounts by selling to you but they probably won't have their account for too long and if they are prepared to enter into such questionable practices, why should you trust them and how do you know your credit card details are safe?

Elite beauty is a reputable professional business that you can trust, please don't compromise our professional integrity by asking us to divert supply.

If you find a stockist that you suspect of diversion and is selling wholesale products or professional size products please let us know and we will be sure to pass your concerns on to Dermalogica or St Tropez.
